Zoe's new thing is a game called "Whoever's first".
Zoe: Hey, I know! Let's play a game! It's called whoever talks first, loses.
Me: Cool! Why don't we play that one the whole entire weekend?
Sage: That's a great idea!
Zoe: You lost!
Hmmm, that didn't last long.
Just a minute ago, the kids got down from the supper table.
Zoe: Whoever farts first, loses!!
Loses what, I wonder, their supper?

ugh. my daycare kids play the "quiet game" during snack a lot. As in, someone randomly yells "QUIET GAME STARTING NOW" and then they all argue and say it wasn't fair and they didn't want to play but then the cool kid says he does want to play so then yeah they all want to play but then they have to argue for five minutes over who gets to yell "QUIET GAME STARTING NOW" and by the time they actually get around to saying it snack is over. Sigh.
