With This Ring...

Today was a beautiful day. Birds filled the air with chirping, sunlight competed with blue skies, children laughed and played outside, the weather so warm you wish spring was already here, and love abounded near and far. Today Chip and Faith became husband and wife, took their vows before family and God, and have started their life together as one.

Before the ceremony I had the privilege of getting ahold of Chip's camera since Ty was recording video with ours and took the kids outside for some fun snapshots. This is Kaitlyn and MaKayla, the two flower girls.
This would be Tyler showing his sisters some brotherly love. All I could hear were muffled screams of "No, Tyler! You're gonna mess up my hair!"
Tyler, a groomsman, being Mr. All Grown Up.
Tristen, another groomsman, did not want his picture taken but he did reluctantly agree to me posing him a few times before he ran off and said "No more!"
David, being Cheeseball David, as usual before the ceremony. He was the ring bearer.
Chip and Faith, with all five kids and both their moms right after the ceremony.
Chip, being Mr. Hawty Pants himself.... is this the look of sheer happiness and content or what?
Faith, gazing into her bouquet, and being serious like I asked her to. This is where I give props to my Mom for making the bouquet and the other flowers for the wedding. She's the bomb-diggity.
I could resist this shot with Faith and Tristen sitting so content and David is off in his own little world enjoying his bubbles. What 5 year old doesn't enjoy bubbles? Heck, I'm 34 and I enjoy bubbles.
Daddy's little girl...

Another Daddy's little girl... I thought this picture of my Dad and sister, Brittnay, turned out fabulous. She's almost as hot as I am.
And we can't forget the feeding of the cake part, and needless to say, they got each other pretty darn good.

To Faith: You made a beautiful bride today and it's so nice to see you and Chip right where you need to be, in the arms of one another forever.

To Chip: You looked awesomely handsome today and it's incredible to see you both so happy.

To the both of you:

May your life together bring you overflowing joy where it's almost too much to handle;

May you both be showered with so much love from the other you feel suffocated;

May tomorrow always be better than today and today always better than yesterday;

May you both walk through this life together, hand in hand through life's trials and come out on the other end triumphantly stronger than ever before;

May the bumpy roads that are unavoidable feel like a roller coaster and make you throw your hands up in the air and scream together, knowing the ride will end soon enough;

May you raise your children in the love and admonition of the Lord and may He bless you richly for it;

May you grow old, wrinkled and gray together, and may you get on each other's nerves;

May you have the ability some day to find each other's dentures when they are lost, and may you have the strength to smack the other one with your walker when it is needed;

May you be smart enough to turn your hearing aid down when the other one is getting on your nerves rather than bicker;

May you both live long enough for all your wishes to come true and then some.

I love you both with all of my heart and soul, Lori
